Strategic Mission Applications and Systems Support Lead

The Opportunity:

CCI is seeking a Strategic Mission Applications and Systems Support Lead to support USSTRATCOM and its national mission. The role involves overseeing the development, integration, and maintenance of mission-critical applications and systems, requiring expertise in strategic operations, systems architecture, and team leadership. The work location is Omaha, Nebraska, contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:
  • Support USSTRATCOM’s strategic mission systems, databases, and applications.
  • Support application enterprise integrated deployment cycles.
  • Lead design, provide direction, and coordinate activities for new or existing system capabilities.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and analysts in designing and implementing mission applications.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering innovation and excellence.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Direct development activities including design, coding, debugging, and testing.
  • Analyze, define, and document data, workflow, and operating system environment designs.
  • Plan and lead major technology assignments.
  • Supervise others as needed.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in systems support, software development, or related fields with a focus on defense or military applications.
  • Required 8140 Cert: 802 - Intermediate; approved DoD 8140 cyber-related certification; or applicable degree with ABET accreditation/CAE designation; or relevant training and additional certifications.
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: $70,900 - $148,900, influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, and certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and education support. Learn more here.
