Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with scopes of supply, RFPs, quotations, PO's and contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for mining and drilling equipment, construction materials, parts, and consumables.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
• Monitor and manage lead times to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Forecast needs with engineering, operations, maintenance and finance to align purchasing plans.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost and responsiveness; drive improvements.
• Maintain procurement records and generate reports on purchasing activities and cost savings.
