Job summary

P.L. Marketing, Inc. is seeking an Associate Business Manager to grow a portfolio of small to mid-sized CPG clients and manage day-to-day execution under guidance.

You will lead client engagement, align strategies with Kroger stakeholders, and drive results through data-driven insights. In this role, you will translate performance data into strategic actions, develop promotional plans, and coordinate new item launches with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, Economics or equivalent education.
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficient Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capacity to learn multiple computer systems and web-based applications.
• Capability to collaborate with others and contribute effectively to a team.
• Expert organizational, analytical and problem-saving skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to effectively craft and deliver a message to senior level executives.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and multi-task.
• Adapt to advancing technology and Kroger systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a portfolio of small to mid-sized CPG clients.
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients and align strategies with Kroger stakeholders.
• Leverage data to drive strategic decisions and generate actionable recommendations.
• Develop and execute growth-promoting promotional plans with SBM/Director guidance.
• Support new product introductions and merchandising opportunities with coordination across teams.
