Job summary

Skechers seeks a Merchandise Planning Manager to lead the OTB process, forecast demand, and align inventory with business goals. You will manage the planning calendar, supervise the team, and coordinate with buyers and planners to optimize stock and margin.

Applicants should have 6–8 years of retail planning experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong Excel/BI skills. Travel up to 10% may be required as part of cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of merchandise planning, inventory management, buying or finance in retail.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Excel with VLOOKUPs and PivotTables; experience with BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-season and in-season planning cycles for sales, stock, AUR and margin.
• Manage OTBs at brand level and communicate plans to planning teams.
• Forecast demand, analyze trends, and provide actionable inventory recommendations weekly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on buy, allocation, and assortment strategies.
