Job summary

Skechers USA Retail, LLC is seeking a Merchandise Planner to lead top-down and bottom-up merchandise plans, monitor receipts, and drive Open-to-Buy decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize sales and inventory while communicating risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of merchandise planning, inventory management, buying or finance in a retail environment.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Excel (includes v-lookups and pivot tables).

Responsibilities

Create and manage OTB’s at the brand level and ensure monthly/quarterly/annual targets are met.
Communicate OTB plan and assess inventory risks with merchandising team.
Ensure receipt plans align with the write schedule.
Participate in weekly/monthly in-season forecast and OTB meetings.
Reforecast sales monthly and report results to the manager.
Develop actions to adjust inventory to reconcile the OTB.
Provide seasonal plans by gender/brand/sub-class pre-season and ensure purchases meet the plan.
Analyze trends and forecast sales; identify risks and opportunities in inventory.
