Job summary

Phoenix Country Club, part of Troon, seeks a Membership Director in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead membership sales, manage the applicant process, and drive retention while coordinating with club leadership and the Board. This role requires strong private club experience and superb relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities include pipeline management, monthly analytics, and partnerships with department heads to host events and tours that showcase our world-class facilities and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven track record in private club membership sales/marketing or luxury hospitality.
• Familiarity with private equity club governance and 501(c)(7) compliance standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Jonas Club Software and MS Office; Adobe Acrobat.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and in-person presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership sales, pipeline & strategy with prospecting, follow-up, and presentations.
• Manage applications, vet candidates, and coordinate committee/board approvals.
• Monitor sales metrics, prepare monthly reports and forecasts for CEO and Board.
• Develop orientation programs and member relations to drive retention.
• Collaborate with department heads for events and member experiences.
