Job summary

Lamboo Medical in Harmony, NC is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

This onsite 6-month contract role collaborates with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to optimize supplier performance, manage ERP/MRP records, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Minimum 3 years purchasing/procurement experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/construction/industrial environments.
• Experience managing purchase orders in ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials, components, packaging, equipment, and services.
• Create and monitor purchase orders per procedures.
• Review inventory, forecasts, and production schedules to determine needs.
• Monitor supplier pricing, lead times, and quality.
• Expedite critical orders and resolve shortages and pricing discrepancies.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, MOQs, and supplier contracts.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain procurement data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Analyze supplier performance for cost-saving opportunities.
• Support inventory management to reduce shortages and excess.
• Develop supplier relationships and strategic sourcing.
