Job summary

ThedaCare seeks an academically driven physician leader to serve as Research Medical Director for the ThedaCare Cancer Center and the Froedtert ThedaCare enterprise North Region. This executive role blends strategic vision with clinical research oversight, physician mentorship, and academic alignment with MCW Cancer Center.

The ideal candidate will build a high-impact clinical trial portfolio, integrate research into routine cancer care, and strengthen regulatory and operational performance,

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Hematology, Oncology, and/or Radiation Oncology.
• Wisconsin medical licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical trial portfolio development and ensure rigorous regulatory standards.
• Mentor physicians and build research capabilities across ThedaCare, Froedtert, and MCW.
• Partner with operations to align research with patient access and care delivery.
• Represent the North Region in enterprise and national oncology research forums.
