Develops relationships with healthcare, medical, science, education and research reporters.
Follows daily news, including major developments in healthcare and research.
Drafts press releases, media statements, pitches, talking points, fact sheets and other materials.
Develops and executes proactive media outreach to local, regional, national and trade outlets.
Coordinates interviews and media opportunities with physicians, researchers, faculty, patients and leaders.
Tracks, measures and reports earned media coverage and outcomes.
Promotes research findings in peer-reviewed journals through earned media opportunities.
