Job summary

Alaska Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tacoma, WA is seeking a MDS Coordinator Nurse to perform assessments of new patients and transmit MDS report forms for billing in line with federal, state, and local standards, maintaining high-quality resident care at all times.

The role requires active WA RN or LPN license and a minimum of 1 year MDS experience in a SNF setting, with strong documentation and interdepartmental coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of nursing practices and facility regulations.
• Strong administrative and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to coordinate training and in-service programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs.
• Develop and evaluate in-service educational programs per policies.
• Maintain records and instructional materials for trainings.
• Complete necessary forms, reports, and attendance records.
• Provide written and oral reports to the administrator.
