Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Material Planning Manager 1 in San Diego, CA. You will lead materials planning, establish build plans, and ensure data integrity in SAP/MRP while guiding manpower and budgets across multiple programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain/Business and 5+ years in production or related manufacturing, with 2+ years of people or project leadership. Secret Clearance is preferred and US citizenship is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Business required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Production or related field in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan materials for all programs and maintain build plans.
• Ensure health and accuracy of requirements data in SAP/MRP.
• Define acquisition requirements of material to meet schedules and track status.
• Manage shortages and root-cause elimination.
• Develop manpower plans and BOEs for proposals.
• Facilitate hiring, development and training for program demands.
• Manage budgets for multiple programs and material costs.
• Drive process improvements across areas of responsibility.
