Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking an Analyst Materials Planner to support the Memphis plant in executing planning tasks and ensuring material availability for production. The role collaborates with planning, suppliers, purchasing, transportation, and plant teams in a high-speed manufacturing environment at Hershey, the Sweetest Place on Earth.

Responsibilities include monitoring material requirements, maintaining planning data, and communicating needs and schedule changes to internal partners.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in supply planning or related areas.
• Knowledge of inventory management, MRP, and planning processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP experience in MRP, scheduling, or production control is a plus.
• CPIM/APICS purchases or production planning certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned supply and materials planning activities on time.
• Monitor material requirements, inventory levels, and lead times.
• Maintain planning data, trackers, and SAP master data.
• Communicate material needs and schedule changes with suppliers and partners.
• Help reduce shortages, improve turns, and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Production Scheduling, Purchasing, S&OP, Quality, and other teams.
