Job summary

BOXX Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking a Material Planner to forecast and plan the supply of raw materials and components across the product life cycle. The role requires hands-on experience with demand forecasting, MRP/ERP systems, and supplier coordination to prevent shortages and support on-time production.

Strong Excel skills and a continuous improvement mindset are essential. You will partner with Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to mitigate risks, maintain planning master

Qualifications

• Forecast and plan to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and components.
• Monthly and quarterly demand forecasting and inventory planning in a high-mix environment.
• Identify material shortages and develop mitigation plans with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supplier change notifications and ensure internal review and execution.
• Assess material impact of ECOs and coordinate implementation plans.
• Maintain planning master data including lead times and safety stock levels.
• Execute MRPs and monitor backlog, material availability, and on-time delivery.
