Job summary

Sequel Wire and Cable in Argos, IN is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee production planning, scheduling, material coordination and shipping to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires master scheduling, data-driven decisions, and leadership of the production team.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers and departments in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. A strong background in LEAN/Six Sigma and ERP usage is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, engineering, or operations management is required.
• 5+ years experience in offensive production coordination, production control, preferably with supervisory or management experience.
• Proficient with Excel, ERP systems, and production control software.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.
• LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, and relevant regulations preferred.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels; hands-on in a dynamic startup environment.
• In-person, 24/7 facility; occasional off-shift coordination expected.
