Job summary

Midway Products Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Materials / Inventory Control leader to oversee the movement of materials in and out of the plant. You will supervise purchasing, production scheduling, warehousing, and customer service to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes planning, process improvement, and adherence to standard procedures, with responsibilities ranging from forecasting collaboration to capital purchases and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or operations preferred; 8+ years experience.
• Automotive supplier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize material control to meet short- and long-range goals.
• Provide training for department personnel.
• Ensure standard procedures for material and services purchases.
• Assist in annual sales forecasts with the sales division.
• Devise efficient and economical movement of materials in/out of plants.
• Analyze inventory and delivery problems andRecommend solutions.
• Coordinate production, inventory control, and reviews of sales orders.
• Authorize material purchases and blanket orders via corporate Materials Control.
• Lead and support LTA, MOS, and Continuous Improvement programs.
• Perform other essential functions as assigned.
