Job summary

Janos Technology (Fluke) seeks a proactive Buyer to manage procurement for custom and forecast orders, coordinating with Sales, Engineering and Materials teams to meet schedules. You will review incoming materials against manufacturing plans and maintain ERP planning parameters, ensuring supplier performance and on-time delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing and planning in lean manufacturing, strong Excel/data analysis skills, and cross-functional collaboration across Operations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, supply chain or related field.
• 3–5 years of purchasing, planning and inventory control in lean manufacturing.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis with advanced formulas.
• Strong collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Sales and Management.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials for custom and forecast orders.
• Request quotations and provide lead times for customer quotes.
• Review materials against schedules to ensure demand plan is met.
• Coordinate with Planning and Sales on vendor commitments and schedule impact.
• Develop action plans and countermeasures for supply issues.
• Back-up for other Buyer and Planner as required.
