Blattner is seeking a Buyer to manage end-to-end purchasing of materials and equipment, planning and executing purchase orders, and coordinating transport to job sites. The role focuses on lowest total cost while preserving quality and reliability, and collaborates with Sourcing to apply category strategies.

The successful candidate will maintain supplier relationships, analyze data, and steer inventory replenishment to meet project needs.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent education in SCM/Business/Finance or related field.
• 2+ years in purchasing, planning or related supply chain function.
• Understanding of sourcing strategies and supplier terms/markets.
• Strategic, analytical, organizational and negotiating skills.
• Effective written and oral communication across leadership levels.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, generates, and expedites purchase orders based on requisitions and BOMs.
• Tracks orders, informs planners and managers of delays or impacts.
• Maintains supplier communication for on-time delivery and data integrity.
• Analyzes data in systems for cost, lead times, safety stock and classes.
• Identifies supply risks and recommends expedited action or supplier changes.
• Plans RFx activities within strategy plans, negotiating pricing/terms.
