Job summary

DecoArt, Inc. in Kimberly, WI, is seeking a Buyer I to source raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for its production of consumer art materials.

The role supports procurement across ~2,726 SKUs with $3 million in inventory, collaborating with production, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and cost effectiveness. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, cost-conscious, and able to navigate sourcing decisions that impact production continuity and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years in a Buyer or procurement role preferred.
• Experience sourcing for a $10M+ organization preferred.
• Experience with international suppliers preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing for raw materials and finished goods based on demand and production needs.
• Collaborate with planning, production and sales to understand material requirements.
• Optimize internal inventory by prioritizing internal transfers within the network.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Maintain sourcing data, monitor lead times and MOQ, and support process improvements.
• Generate procurement reports on cost savings and supplier performance.
