Job summary

Lotus Bakeries in Mebane, NC, is seeking a Material and Production Planner to own production scheduling and material replenishment for Plant Mebane. You will balance demand, capacity, inventory, and costs to ensure timely delivery.

The role reports to Planning & Materials Manager, is fully onsite, with hours 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and minimal domestic travel. You will collaborate across supply chain to optimize service levels and working capital.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline.
5-7 years of planning or purchasing experience.
APICS CPIM/CSCP preferred.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Responsibilities

Develop and manage daily production schedules for Plant Mebane.
Create and execute material replenishment plans using MRP outputs.
Create, release, maintain, and manage purchase orders in SAP to support production requirements.
Monitor open POs, supplier commitments, and material deliveries to minimize disruptions.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve delivery schedules and supplier performance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve service levels and reduce costs.
