Beacon Search Group seeks a Material Scheduler/Planner to collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and Customer Service. You will identify shortages, manage material schedules, and expedite critical components to support JIT manufacturing.

Responsibilities include analyzing releases, maintaining supplier schedules, monitoring inventory, and communicating with suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery and minimal stock.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of material planning, scheduling, or related supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience managing customer releases and supplier schedules.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsabilités

• Analyze customer releases, forecasts, and production schedules to determine material requirements.
• Generate and maintain supplier schedules through ERP/MRP systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, shortages, capacity concerns, and changing requirements.
• Proactively identify supply risks and expedite materials to prevent production interruptions.
• Adjust material schedules based on demand and production changes.
• Partner with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and other departments to resolve material and supplier issues.
• Maintain planning parameters including lead times, safety stock, minimum order quantities, and reorder points.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement focused on material flow and supplier performance.
• Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
