Job summary

JCB North America in Pooler, GA is seeking an experienced Inventory/Materials Specialist to manage MRP for suppliers and release purchase orders to meet lead times. You will monitor supplier performance, reconcile invoices, and drive parts availability.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory control or purchasing, a high school diploma, and proficiency with MS Office. This is a full-time on-site position at JCB North America's Pooler facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory control, material planning or purchasing experience in a service environment.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Must pass drug screen, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Manage MRP for assigned suppliers.
• Maintain open communications and monitor performance of assigned suppliers.
• Release purchase orders based on consumption levels and demand to meet lead times and cover future requirements.
• Manage assigned responsibilities and follow processes.
• Generate reports and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Be a team player contributing to set targets of parts availability.
• Create and maintain SOPs and workflow processes for all assigned responsibilities.
• Monitor supplier performance for timely shipping and quality.
• Liaise with other divisions to resolve supplier/material issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
