Job summary

Wabash Manufacturing seeks a Material Planner to ensure daily material availability and accurate system data. You will perform BOM reviews, release production orders, and monitor inventory levels while collaborating with buyers and planners to optimize PFEP and production flow.

The role requires independent judgment, strong math and analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP, Excel, and ERP processes. Safety training and ISO standards compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (Excel and Word).
• Strong math skills and analytical background.
• Strong SAP background.

Responsibilities

• Reviews BOMs daily for each SO and identifies new parts.
• Costs and releases production orders.
• Monitors parts to avoid production delays.
• Assists in search for missing materials and cleanup of unnecessary materials.
• Performs data entry and record-keeping in computer systems.
