Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Material Planner to lead material planning for assemblies in an ERP/MRP environment onsite in El Segundo, CA. The role supports on-time delivery and interacts with engineering, program control, and manufacturing teams.

Candidates will have 4+ years in supply chain or production, aerospace/defense experience, and must be able to obtain US security clearance; a Bachelor's degree and ERP/MRP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in supply chain, production, or engineering roles.
• Experience in material planning, inventory management, and scheduling.
• Ability to obtain US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with engineering, management, program control, schedulers, quality for on-time delivery.
• Read and interpret blueprints; understand release to ERP/MRP.
• Analyze MRP data and interdependencies to run the system effectively.
• Know material requirements, consumables, spares, lead times, and quality flags.
• Identify data gaps and request needed reports to support decisions.
• Manage flow of work for assemblies in ERP/MRP platform.
• Release Costpoint MO's and Jira work orders as signals for POs.
• Collaborate with scheduler and manufacturing teams to meet ECDs.
• Forecast ebom to mbom conversions for lifecycle quantities.
• Communicate status of materials, work orders, POs to stakeholders.
• Resolve supply issues with cross-functional teams.
