Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Milford, CT, is seeking a Master Planner to develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule, balance capacity, inventory, and production resources to meet customer demand.

The role leads the Planning and Production Control team, coordinates with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality, and drives continuous improvement in scheduling, delivery performance, and ERP accuracy. You will monitor performance and lead cross-functional recovery plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years in production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Experience leading planners, schedulers, or production control personnel.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and scheduling processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand, forecasts, capacity, and priorities.
• Balance capacity, labor, equipment, materials, and due dates to maximize throughput.
• Lead, coach, and develop Planning Planners and Production Control staff.
• Monitor daily performance and adjust schedules in response to risks and constraints.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Materials, and cross-functional teams to ensure material availability.
• Participate in S&OP/IBP meetings and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
