Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Associate in Markets Planning and Analysis within Financial Planning and Analysis to coordinate budgeting cycles and deliver performance insights. You will work with Finance partners, Controllers, and business leaders to translate results into clear narratives for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• 4+ years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual budgeting and mid-year forecasting processes.
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports on performance and outlook.
• Analyze quarterly business performance and key drivers versus plan and prior periods.
• Perform competitor benchmarking and summarize implications for leadership discussions.
• Support Markets Resolution and Recovery planning activities and deliverables.
• Build executive-ready presentations and supporting materials for senior management.
• Partner with Business Heads, CFOs, and Controllers to support strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to cross-finance strategic initiatives and project workstreams.
• Implement controls and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency of analysis.
• Synthesize multiple data sets into cohesive insights, recommendations, and narratives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across firmwide, functional finance, and line-of-business teams.
