Job summary

ESS Companies is seeking an experienced Marketing Project Manager to lead end-to-end digital marketing initiatives—from intake to launch—at our Kansas City, MO office. You will align marketing with technology, manage schedules and capacity, and drive process improvement with automation and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in project management, digital project management, or marketing operations.
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and technology/development teams.
• Ability to reprioritize work as business needs evolve and keep leadership informed of impacts.
• Proven ability to manage resource planning and capacity across multiple projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management for priority marketing initiatives from intake through launch.
• Serve as the liaison between marketing and technology teams, detailing and syncing schedules and dependencies.
• Build and maintain project plans and timelines; track milestones and flag risks.
• Develop capacity planning and track team/resource allocation across active projects.
• Collaborate with leadership to prioritize incoming requests and allocate based on capacity and impact.
• Design and document repeatable processes for intake, scoping, approvals, and handoffs across work types.
• Facilitate status meetings, stand-ups, and stakeholder check-ins across teams.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement automation/AI tools to streamline tasks and reporting.
