Job summary

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors in New York seeks a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead campaigns, develop materials, and build relationships that advance RPA’s mission and business development.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, Communications & Partnerships, you will oversee external communications collateral, the website and social channels, and marketing campaigns, while supporting events and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in philanthropy, consulting, law firm, or nonprofit sectors strongly desired.
• Strong grammar, writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Knowledge of nonprofit and philanthropic sectors is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute external communications collateral.
• Oversee content and copy for the website and social media platforms.
• Develop and manage marketing and business development campaigns.
• Leverage partnerships and media to raise awareness of RPA’s capabilities.
• Lead creation of print and digital materials for proposals and collateral.
• Assist with strategy, logistics, preparation and tracking of major events.
• Maintain contact relationship database for business development and communications.
• Support internal communications and knowledge management efforts.
• Assist staff with presentations, proposals, analysis, and reports.
