Job summary

Snowline Engineering in Cameron Park, CA is seeking a Project Planner to lead manufacturing projects from contract review to shipment. You will prepare estimates, release jobs, source materials, and coordinate with shop personnel, engineers, and program management to ensure timely delivery of quality products.

Your role requires reading blueprints, strong communication, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years in production planning, project coordination, or manufacturing engineering.
• Capable of reading and understanding blue prints, drawings, sketches, specifications and manuals.
• Solid understanding of machining/fabrication operations and associated processes.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems (JobBOSS2/E2 experience valued).
• 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks) preferred.
• Effective communicator with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, drawings, engineering data packages, and specifications
• Create project estimates and initiate job releases from those estimates
• Calculate material requirements using ERP/MRP systems, and coordinate with purchasing to source materials and outside services from approved vendors
• Monitor job progress and maintain accurate status reporting
• Serve as liaison between production floor and engineering to address technical challenges
• Keep program management informed of delivery schedules and proactively address any concerns
• Own full project lifecycle accountability from planning through shipment
• Other duties as assigned by management
