Job summary

Flex is seeking a Program Manager to oversee end-to-end product lifecycle for a manufacturing program in a fast-paced environment. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and delivering on forecasted costs, schedules, and quality targets to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities include customer interfacing, project planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on delivering value and sustaining manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in program/project management in engineering, production, operations, or supply chain.
• Ability to organize, plan, and direct program schedules & budgets.
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional activities and delivering business metrics.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing scope, risks, and changes.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with customers, solving problems, building relationships, and managing escalations.
• Leading small to medium-sized cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
• Participating in planning sessions, contributing to timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinating cross-departmental teams to deliver projects on time and within cost targets.
• Facilitating meetings and presenting updates to stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Managing P&L, financial forecasting, and manufacturing cost commitments.
• Overseeing planning, procurement, and delivery to meet program objectives within forecasted costs.
• Ensuring contract compliance and managing changes with ECOs/PCNs where applicable.
• Driving continuous improvement and reporting on KPIs related to customer satisfaction, OTD, quality, and financial performance.
