Job summary

Advantic Building Group is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to ensure timely procurement, accurate inventory, and seamless coordination between procurement, production, and planning teams in our Ohio facility.

You will manage vendor relationships, optimize lead times, maintain stock levels, analyze data, and drive continuous improvements to reduce costs and support manufacturing schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 5–7 years related experience or training.
• 3–5+ years in supply chain, purchasing, or production planning—manufacturing/ops environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, consumables, tooling, hardware, and packaging components required for daily/forecasted production needs.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Expedite urgent orders and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain records of purchase orders, receipts, and material consumption.
