Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Butler Works is seeking a Planner in the Manufacturing Planning Department to develop and maintain production schedules for Butler and Zanesville plants. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling challenges and support efficient operations, monitor performance against plans, coordinate material movement, and communicate schedules and expediting needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related business field.
• Experience with planning systems and scheduling software.
• Strong math and computer skills; attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily production schedules for Butler and Zanesville plants.
• Coordinate material movement and align with unit schedules.
• Monitor plan vs. actual production and address variances.
• Communicate plans and expediting requirements to stakeholders.
• Support adherence to QSOP/TWI requirements and trials.
• Assist in determining turnaround timing and changeovers.
