Job summary

Maxcess is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Finance Analyst to support North American Operations and Supply Chain. This hands-on role partners with plant leadership to improve financial performance, cost visibility, and operational decision-making.

The position emphasizes manufacturing costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and financial forecasting. You will analyze costs, performance, and trends, providing actionable insights that drive improvements in labor, overhead, and capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, plant accounting, or operations finance.
• Experience with inventory accounting and manufacturing cost structures.
• Strong Excel and Financial Analysis Skills.
• ERP experience preferred; Epicor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with plant leadership, operations, and supply chain teams to improve financial and operational performance.
• Provide clear, actionable financial insights related to manufacturing cost and productivity, inventory, and working capital.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning; analyze trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Analyze labor, overhead, capacity, and utilization; evaluate manufacturing efficiency and margins.
• Ensure accurate financial information with timely month-end close and reconciliations.
• Identify root causes of variances and implement cost improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate across finance, operations, and supply chain on process improvements and ERP/data accuracy.
