Trimm, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Controller to lead cost accounting and financial reporting in a manufacturing setting. You will manage standard costs, variances, and overall financial transactions, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or master’s degree in accounting.
• 4+ years of related experience with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• All financial transaction processing and reporting for the company.
• Managing standard cost data for products in the ERP system including material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Identify, analyze, and report variances between standard and actual costs, providing root-cause analysis.
• Oversee all financial accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing and fixed assets.
• Preparation of company financial statements, external reports, and support for income tax reporting.
• Sits on the senior leadership team to set the strategic direction for the company.
• Position includes supervision of one direct report.
