Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company, Inc. is seeking a site-based finance professional in Spartanburg to lead cost accounting and month-end close for our manufacturing site.

You will own journal entries, cost of goods, and GL integrity while partnering with production and supply chain teams to drive accuracy and efficiency. You will also develop reporting for real-time site performance, support budgeting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across cost control, standard costing, and variance

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required/preferred.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage month-end close activities for the site, including journal entries, accruals, and reporting.
• Cost accounting for work orders in Sage X3; resolve discrepancies with Production and Inventory teams.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy per US GAAP and company policies.
• Maintain general ledger integrity; investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.
• Strengthen internal controls over inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets; support audits.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools for real-time site performance; support forecasting and budgeting.
