Job summary

Protec Arisawa is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day accounting, manage the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and ensure timely journal entries. The role supports budgeting and forecasting, performs financial analysis, and coordinates month-end and year-end closes with auditors.

On-site leadership of the finance team is essential, with a focus on internal controls, policy enforcement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive cost optimization and robust financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CMA/CPA a plus.
• Experience as a Controller or senior accounting role, manufacturing background preferred (5–7+ years).
• Strong leadership, communication, and on-site collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including GL, AR/AP, payroll, and journal entries; monitor financial health.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for strategic decisions and scenario planning.
• Lead month-end and year-end closes; coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with regulations.
