Job summary

Lift Solutions Holdings is seeking a Buyer to lead procurement for custom engineered-to-order and standard manufacturing products. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, ensure material availability, and drive cost, quality, and delivery across multiple facilities in the New Equipment Business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in SCM, Eng, or related field.
• 3–5 years purchasing/procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience with engineered-to-order and standard materials.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP and Excel.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Procure sales order specific materials to meet required commitment dates.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for engineered components and standard production materials.
• Manage supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and service agreements for cost savings and continuity.
• Issue and manage purchase orders with timely delivery of materials and services.
• Collaborate with Engineering on new product introductions and design changes.
• Support production schedules by ensuring material availability from planning to delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues related to quality, cost, and lead time.
• Maintain procurement data within ERP/MRP systems and supplier records.
• Reconcile inventory monthly with Production Management.
• Lead supplier reviews and corrective action plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, obligations, and regulations.
• Mentor and support buyers and team members.
• Prepare procurement performance and cost-savings reports.
