McKenzie Valve & Machining, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement for production materials and services in our McKenzie, TN facility. You will source, negotiate, and purchase materials, forecast demand, and support Lean initiatives to ensure on-time production and optimal cost.

5 days onsite, travel up to 15%, reports to the Operations Manager. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of industrial purchasing experience, strong ERP and negotiation

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial purchasing experience (with a HS diploma).
• Experience with ERP-driven purchasing systems.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end procurement for production materials and services.
• Source, quote, negotiate, and purchase materials including components.
• Forecast, schedule, expedite, and monitor material requirements.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Develop relationships with domestic and global suppliers.
• Review BOMs, Kanban cards, requisitions, and purchasing requests.
• Issue purchase orders, blanket orders, and contracts.
• Process supplier claims and resolve vendor performance issues.
• Support Lean initiatives (Kanban, VMI, Consignment).
• Utilize ERP to manage purchasing, inventory, and metrics.
