Job summary

MNP Corporation, a long-standing manufacturing firm, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial data accuracy, and partner on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategy. This role reports to the CFO and works across multiple companies.

The ideal candidate has extensive GAAP knowledge, cost accounting, and experience with ERP systems, plus strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of increasing financial responsibility including manufacturing experience
• GAAP, financial analysis, cost accounting, forecasting & budgeting experience
• Multi-company consolidation experience
• Knowledge and experience with automotive OEMs and Tier II customers
• Experience with ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to develop and provide accurate analysis of financial data and reports
• Ensure monthly financial statement closings for the Consolidated Group are complete and timely
• Provide financial data based on established practices
• Support Tax department on filing tax returns (sales/use tax, personal property tax, income/state taxes)
• Provide expertise in billing, general ledger software, and accounting systems
• Analyze financial information to evaluate performance and identify cost reductions or improvements
• Coordinate activities of departments concerned with production, pricing, sales or inventory
• Review information submitted by staff to ensure accurate reporting
• Coordinate timely completion of external audit and reconciliation requirements
• Build relationships with all departments and support personnel
• Collaborate across companies to support strategic manufacturing goals
