Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business administration, public administration, statistics, or social science field.
• Three (3) years of professional level experience performing organizational policy/program/process analysis and developing and/or implementing improvement initiatives.
• Equivalencies exist: high school diploma with seven years of required experience; associate degree with five years; bachelor's in a non-specified field with five years; master's with one year.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, evaluates, and reviews budgets and expenditures for programs, projects, grants, and departments; prepares and reviews personnel actions, agenda items, budget changes, accounting activities, and other administrative functions; ensures compliance with City policies.
• Researches, organizes, compiles, summarizes, and analyzes data for special projects; prepares and presents extensive reports to management and other agencies.
• Evaluates operations and work quality; provides statistical analysis and recommendations on process improvement projects; collaborates with multiple departments.
• Serves as a resource for administrative staff across departments; provides guidance on analysis issues and asset management concerns.
• Analyzes trends and issues impacting the City and its work; performs a wide range of technical and administrative duties.
• Coordinates information and ensures effective communications between departments; explains technical and financial information to external agencies and City staff.
• Drafts, prepares, and submits grant applications; monitors compliance with grant requirements and prepares funding reports and reimbursement documents.
• Attends meetings, manages notices, and provides ongoing analysis to support City goals and standards.
• Performs any other work as needed or assigned.
