Job summary

Ohio Department of Medicaid seeks a Managed Care Contract Manager to oversee contract management and compliance within the Office of Managed Care. You will analyze program information, conduct evaluations of managed care plans, and support policy initiatives for new programs and populations.

Collaborate with plans to resolve issues and ensure alignment with provider agreements. The role requires graduate study in health administration or related field, or 12 months in Medicaid Health Systems,

Qualifications

• Graduate core program completed or 12 months experience in health services program management.
• Experience with health services contract management, data analysis or budget development is a plus.
• Knowledge of HMO and hospital rate development is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Managing program information and analyses to inform policy changes.
• Conducting evaluations for managed care plans.
• Answering questions related to legislative and policy initiatives.
• Leading contract issues, implementations and targeted reviews.
• Collaborating with managed care plans to identify concerns and provide technical assistance.
