Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a System Director of Managed Care to serve as the regional SME for managed care negotiations and oversight of national payor contracts. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop contracting strategies, and ensure alignment with clinical quality and population health goals across the system.

Qualifications

• BS in business administration or similar; MBA/MHA preferred.
• 7+ years in health care or insurance with contract negotiation and network development.
• 7+ years of management experience with at least two direct reports.
• Experience leading large system negotiations > $450M.

Responsibilities

• Lead system negotiating team for system-wide and state-level payor contracts.
• Coordinate regional CIN/ACO managed care contracting initiatives.
• Lead System Managed Care Worker’s Compensation payor contract and drive business development activities.
