Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Major Gifts Programs Officer to manage special projects and operational activities for the major gifts group. You will coordinate disease-based advisory councils, plan community grand rounds, and develop processes to increase donor engagement and impact.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years’ related experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to work across departments in a fast-paced healthcare philanthropy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years’ related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate 3–4 meetings per year for disease-based advisory councils.
• Coordinate and facilitate community grand rounds for board members and constituents.
• Research, develop and implement process improvements to engage attendees meaningfully.
• Manage relationships through written and other communications and by scheduling advisory committee meetings and community grand rounds.
• Plan and implement disease-specific programmatic initiatives for the Major Gifts team, including lists and invitation lists.
