The University of Nebraska Foundation in Lincoln, NE is seeking a fundraising professional to partner with IANR leadership and advance major gifts. You will cultivate relationships with alumni, community leaders, and donors to align philanthropy with university priorities.

This full-time role offers hybrid work in Lincoln, with travel and ample professional growth. Candidates should have 1–3 years in fundraising and strong communication, with a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in development, fundraising, sales, client-facing role or related field.
• Demonstrated success in solicitation of annual and major gifts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Discretion in handling confidential matters.
• Candidates evaluated on core values of passion for mission, integrity, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Play a critical role in building a robust community of philanthropic support by partnering with IANR leadership.
• Build relationships and partnerships with alumni, community leaders, and donors to align their philanthropy with IANR.
• Plan and implement major gift fundraising strategies including identification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors.
• strategize complex and impactful gifts with a sophisticated, knowledgeable donor base.
