International Paper in Sealy, TX is seeking a Maintenance Purchasing Coordinator to lead daily purchasing, inventory, and work-order parts for the Maintenance Department. You will manage a site-wide parts/inventory and coordinate contractors, using SAP to create requisitions and ensure accurate invoice matching.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cost-control, and collaboration with maintenance leadership to reduce expenses and improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with four years of maintenance planning, purchasing, and project coordination.
• Knowledge of SAP, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work weekends or off shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily purchasing, inventory, and work-order parts for Maintenance.
• Manages site-wide parts and tool inventory and coordinates service contractors.
• Determines material needs for repairs, research options, obtain pricing, create a requisition in SAP.
• Source material locally, purchase with a Pcard, and reconcile P-card records.
• Inspects materials upon delivery and ensures proper plant receiving procedures.
• Track costs using SAP and report to management.
• Supports safety, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze high maintenance cost centers and implement cost-reduction solutions.
