Job summary

Mentor Technical Group in Boston seeks a qualified planner to coordinate calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance activities. You will plan resources, manage work orders in CMMS, and align with manufacturing operations to ensure timely completion.

The role requires a degree in science or engineering and extensive experience in maintenance environments with regulatory exposure (FDA/OSHA). You will forecast material needs and prepare backlog reports to keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical).
• In lieu of degree, 2-year college technical school with 10+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule resources and materials for calibrations, preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize efficiency.
• Review and approve incoming work requests.
• Develop and report work backlog and forecast resource needs.
• Coordinate with manufacturing operations to ensure on-time completion of maintenance activities.
• Oversee regulatory compliance for work orders per FDA, DEA, OSHA requirements.
• Manage work through the CMMS system and maintain accurate records.
• Identify follow-up work from Field Service reports and incorporate into maintenance work orders.
• Plan, optimize and forecast calibration and preventive maintenance plans.
