Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to drive operational excellence by planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance across the facility. You will work closely with Maintenance, Operations, and cross‑functional teams to maximize uptime, control costs, and ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

The role requires CMMS proficiency, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience in backlogs, labor standards, and preventive maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• 2-year trade school or technical education preferred.
• Proficient in CMMS software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office/Excel skills.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures.
• Ability to analyze maintenance data and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between Maintenance, Operations, and supported departments.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Develop and maintain planned job packages, labor standards, and material libraries.
• Schedule major and minor shutdowns and develop standardized shutdown plans.
• Procure maintenance materials and services within guidelines.
• Keep Leadership informed of critical issues and opportunities.
• Maintain maintenance data, CMMS administration, and cost tracking.
