Job summary

Kaneka North America is seeking a Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Specialist in Pasadena, TX to drive continuous improvement within the planning group. You will mentor schedulers, coordinate outages, and collaborate with vendors to ensure safe, efficient maintenance execution.

Qualified candidates will have SAP PM/MM experience, Primavera and MS Office proficiency, and a background in chemical/manufacturing environments. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the planning and scheduling group.
• Mentor planners and schedulers and provide backup support as needed.
• Coordinate with external vendors and ensure safe, efficient outage execution.

Responsibilities

• Identify, coordinate, and schedule contractors for outage work.
• Develop monitoring processes for the site planning and scheduling team; publish KPIs.
• Track spare parts inventory and ensure availability to support routine maintenance.
• Analyze maintenance data and use SAP to record, track, and analyze maintenance work.
• Manage costs and logistics from requisition through purchase order closure for maintenance projects and outages.
