Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a maintenance planning leader to optimize reliability, performance, and efficiency of our Medium Power Transformer manufacturing operations. You will own maintenance planning, scheduling, CMMS governance, analytics, and materials readiness, ensuring safe and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning, industrial maintenance, reliability, manufacturing operations, or related technical environments.
• Experience using CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP PM, eMaint, Infor, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, work management, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze maintenance and operational data using Excel, reporting tools, and maintenance systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance plans, job plans, asset records, PM libraries, and equipment hierarchies within the CMMS.
• Create and manage weekly, monthly, shutdown, outage, and long-range maintenance schedules.
• Analyze maintenance and asset performance data and develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to support data-driven decisions.
• Lead maintenance planning processes, including work prioritization, backlog management, scheduling, and workflow compliance.
• Ensure labor, materials, tooling, permits, documentation, and job kits are ready before work execution.
• Coordinate major maintenance shutdowns and collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and service providers.
• Support TPM, RCM, RCA, continuous improvement, and reliability programs that improve equipment effectiveness.
• Partner across Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Safety teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
