Job summary

Milestone Funeral Partners is seeking a strategic and analytically driven Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to oversee the full transaction lifecycle and drive growth through acquisitions and partnerships. This on-site Dallas-based role offers broad exposure to cross-functional teams and external advisors.

You will develop pipelines, build financial models, perform due diligence, and coordinate deal execution with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, economics, business administration, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or related field.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate prospective acquisition opportunities and maintain an active transaction pipeline.
• Build financial models, perform valuation and scenario analysis, and assess key business drivers, risks, and potential returns.
• Support transaction strategy, including initial offers, negotiations, and letters of intent.
• Coordinate due diligence across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, and other internal teams.
• Review financial and operational information and identify risks, discrepancies, and opportunities.
• Prepare deal summaries, financial analyses, and presentations for executive leadership and Board review.
• Maintain transaction timelines, diligence materials, data rooms, and other deal documentation.
• Support negotiations, closing activities, and post-closing integration to help ensure successful value realization.
