Job summary

Deloitte France is seeking a Senior Consultant, M&A Finance, to support finance integration and separation activities across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will work across finance, accounting, and treasury priorities to optimize processes and reporting during transactions.

The role requires 4+ years in M&A or related finance functions, strong communication, leadership, and project management skills, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years of consulting or industry experience, MBA with 2+ years acceptable.
• 4+ years experience in mergers and acquisitions or service delivery including Day 1 planning, policy, process, systems alignment, consolidation and reporting.
• 4+ years leading workstreams in M&A engagements covering financial close, planning, forecasting, and controls.
• 3+ years in M&A I&D or service delivery within finance functions.
• 3+ years in accounting, finance, controllership, FP&A, treasury or financial reporting.
• Ability to travel 50% on average based on client engagement.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support finance workstreams across M&A engagements, including Day 1 readiness and post-close execution.
• Analyze finance, accounting, and treasury processes to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop workplans, track deliverables, and coordinate activities across stakeholders.
• Prepare analyses and client-ready deliverables related to close, consolidation, planning and forecasting.
• Support evaluating options, synthesizing findings, and communicating recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with managers and teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• The M&A Finance team advises on finance integration and divestiture through governance and execution.
